When I was
a preteen about 12 to 13 years old I was called a punker or punk girl
and skater girl just for the reason of my skate boarding and
style of dressing. I hated being put in a trend or labeled
as a freak, punk girl or skater girl since the label was due
to my looks or dress style and what I did instead of what I
was like inside. I was a non conformist and will always be
one of the types of people whom do not dig following trends
or other people. I admit that I was a strange person to most
and maybe still seem strange since I do not follow trends
and styles or what other people and dress like. I have to
admit I am happy with who I am
in ways today and I am lucky to have made it to live this
long. I did out grow the darkness that lurked in my soul
or heavy sadness that seemed to consume me but, that did not
happen until I was in my late 20's. At about age 40 I now live a
happy and wonderful life and know it is amazing that I got
live this long. If I can overcome problems and
things I have been through in my life then so can you.

I sadly must
admit that when I was a preteen I could have been easily
called a carver. Back in the early 80's though there were no
carvers or names for people that did body modifications. I used to
carve words and art on my body. I always carved on my left
arm for I was right handed until a major accident that
severed my right arm badly & made use of my right arm not
possible for about a year.
I was a carver if you must call it that
but, I was not a cutter. Read below about Carvers and
cutters & what the difference is between emo cutting and
people carving & body modifications.
I was never cutting
or what you would call a cutter. I
carved on my skin but, I never just cut to hurt myself. In
ways what I did is also given another name & they call it
body modification or body modifications. There were no
people I saw that did body piercing and carving art or body
art of carving as I did back then for this was also when I
was a preteen. Every Piercing and body modification I did on
myself was done for a reason. The carving *Carving Not
Cutting* was also done for different reasons. In fact when I
was about 13 or 14 years old I made a wall painting or mural
on my wall and even painted a painting of my own arm
dripping blood with words carved into it. For some of the
red color or red paint I did add my own blood taken from my
arm to the wall. That was not sanitary or cool so of course
after a day of the painting being on the wall I washed the
blood away then put on red paint to make the painting back
as it was. If that is not seen to you as a bit crazy or sick
then you may need to seek help eh. This is a true story that
I dare not admit or post on my bio via my personal site. In
case you wondered or guessed it already I admit that I am

a temp way or that washes off eh.
People
had piercings on their ears once or twice around 1982 and
1983 but, I pierced my ears about 15 times on one ear then
20 on the left ear. I also pierced my nose twice on the left
side and once on the right side of my nose. I then moved on
to pierce my belly *never heard of it done in early 80's
but, I did it and sadly went through the muscle.* I had to
take out the piercing of course.* About a year or two later
I pierced my cheek. I was about 15 years old at that time. I
did my own tattoos and body piercing when I was a preteen
girl and a teen. My first tattoo was done in the late 1980's
more like around 1988. Only two of my tattoos were done when
I was an adult.
